Why this rate differs from the standard package
Home rehabilitation depends on direct communication with the patient and family: how to train, what to avoid, and when to stop. A misunderstanding here is a safety risk, not just an inconvenience.
Staff who speak English well enough for clinical work are a smaller group and command a higher professional fee, which this package covers.
The package includes a bilingual coordinator and English reporting, which the standard package does not provide.
International Care has no first-session trial rate and no 20 or 30-session packages. Nursing procedure visits, equipment rental, hospital escort and residential rehabilitation are charged at standard rates in every package. If the patient and the main carer at home are comfortable in Thai, our team can review the standard package case by case — please call to discuss.

When should a stroke patient start physical therapy?
As soon as possible when symptoms are stable, about 1-2 weeks after hospital discharge. The Golden Period (first 0-6 months) is when the brain recovers best. The sooner you start, the higher the chances of walking again.

Physiotherapy for the elderly vs. for bedridden patients at home — how they differ
Home physiotherapy with KIN starts at THB 1,800 per session. A licensed physiotherapist comes to your home with the equipment, so there is no need to move an elderly parent anywhere. The programme for someone still walking and the programme for someone already bedridden are entirely different.
Physiotherapy for the elderly (still mobile) — the goal is fall prevention and keeping strength for as long as possible: balance training, sit-to-stand practice, stair training, leg strengthening and gait work, plus a fall-risk check of the actual home with layout advice. Physiotherapy for bedridden patients — the goal is preventing the complications of long bed rest: passive range-of-motion for every joint to prevent contractures, positioning and turning to prevent pressure sores, chest physiotherapy and breathing exercises to prevent chest infection, then a graded progression to sitting, standing and walking as the body allows.
Who it suits: recovery after stroke, after knee or hip replacement, elderly people who fall often or walk unsteadily, people who are bedridden with stiff joints, and anyone discharged from hospital who cannot continue training alone.
