Nursing Assistant (NA) Services — Comprehensive Home Elderly Care
KIN HomeCare's Nursing Assistants (NA) have completed a 420-hour training course and received certification from an accredited institution. They provide close home elderly care covering 5 main categories.
1) Daily Routine Assistance
Bathing, dressing, changing diapers, feeding, administering medication on time, assisting with mobility, repositioning to prevent bedsores, and maintaining oral and skin hygiene.
2) Vital Signs Monitoring
Measuring blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturation (SpO2). Daily recording. Any abnormalities are immediately reported to the nurse and family.
3) Risk Surveillance & Fall Prevention
Ensuring a safe home environment, supporting walking, assisting in the bathroom, preventing slips and falls, and reducing the risk of fractures (a major cause of seniors becoming bedridden).
4) Brain Stimulation, Activities & Emotional Care
Engaging in conversation, reading, playing brain-training games, doing art activities, caring for mental health, reducing loneliness, and preventing depression and dementia.

How We Select, Train and Supervise Caregivers
The question families ask before booking is rarely about price. It is “who exactly will be in the house all day, who chose them, and who is responsible if something goes wrong?” Here is the full path a caregiver takes before reaching your door.

| Certificate, background check, then a practical test | A 420-hour caregiver course certificate is required, followed by a criminal background check and a practical test with the nursing team before any assignment. |
| Matched to the case, not simply whoever is free | During the assessment you tell us what the day actually involves, so we can assign a caregiver trained for those tasks. You may review the profile first and state a preference for a male or female caregiver (male caregivers are fewer). Work usually starts within 2–3 days, with no rush fee. |
| Supervised while on duty | Caregivers are never on their own: they consult KIN's registered nurses the moment something looks wrong, a case manager sits between the family and the caregiver, and the medical and allied-health team can adjust the care plan as the condition changes. |

What we will not promise: tasks such as suctioning, insulin injections and simple shallow-wound dressing are performed only by caregivers who have completed that specific training, under the supervision of our registered-nurse team. Inserting or changing feeding tubes and urinary catheters, other injections and deep or complex wound care are done by a registered nurse. We say so at the assessment rather than accept work beyond our scope.
Who is responsible for nursing and caregiving at home
The nurses and caregivers who come to your home work to one set of standards, set by a rehabilitation physician, with a nursing manager directly responsible for the quality of their work.

What can a Nursing Assistant (NA) do?

Can you care for bedridden, tracheostomy, or feeding tube patients?
Yes. NAs handle daily bedridden care such as repositioning and feeding, including tube feeding. For tracheostomy care and suctioning, KIN assigns an NA who has completed task-specific training and works under the supervision of our registered-nurse team. A caregiver can be changed once, free of charge, if they fail to meet service standards or behave inappropriately — please tell your case manager.
