Do you accept tube-fed, tracheostomy and oxygen-dependent patients? — Admission criteria and fees on top of the room rate
KIN accepts patients with feeding tubes, tracheostomy patients who need suctioning, and patients on continuous oxygen at every branch. The monthly care fee depends on the branch and room type (see the packages above), and some procedures are charged on top according to each patient’s needs. This table lists the conditions and extra charges so families can compare prices with other centres on the same basis.
| Case | Accepted? | Conditions / extra charges |
|---|---|---|
| Nasogastric tube feeding (NG tube) | Yes | Tube-feeding procedure fee 12,000 THB/month · if a meal must run longer than 1 hour or a feeding pump is required, the pump rental is charged extra |
| Gastrostomy feeding (PEG) | Yes | 12,000 THB/month + daily stoma wound care |
| Tracheostomy requiring suctioning | Yes, every branch | Tracheostomy dressing + suctioning charged as a monthly bundle or per session, depending on how often suctioning is needed |
| Continuous oxygen | Yes | Stable condition · oxygen no more than 10 litres/minute · no breathing support beyond the centre’s capability (every case is assessed before admission) |
| Urinary catheter | Yes | Bladder irrigation or catheter change during the stay = procedure fee + supplies |
| Pressure ulcer stage 3–4 | Yes | Wound care as ordered by the doctor · family acknowledges the risks and cooperates on supplies · if the wound worsens or needs debridement, the patient is referred to hospital |
| Dialysis outside the centre 2–3 times/week | Yes | Stable condition, assessed before admission · we arrange a partner ambulance, charged by distance · no dialysis service inside the centre |
| Drug-resistant infection | Yes | A medical certificate stating the organism and treatment plan is required · single room with infection-control measures · separate laundry may be charged |
| Palliative cancer care | Yes | Continuing care following the treatment plan from the main hospital |
| Over 90 kg, needs a two-person lift | Yes | No extra conditions |
Criteria from the KIN clinical team as of September 2026 · every case is assessed before admission · for items charged “by frequency”, the team confirms the price before care begins
