One device, two modes: brain stimulation or peripheral nerve stimulation
TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) stimulates the brain area specified by the doctor and is used to supplement training in stroke patients. PMS (Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation) stimulates muscles and peripheral nerves and is used to supplement muscle training or help manage pain, depending on assessment. Neither requires surgery or anesthesia, and both are always used together with physiotherapy. Results vary between individuals.
