Mr Thongchai Chokthanomsap, Executive Chairman of KIN ORIGIN Healthcare and KIN - Rehabilitation & Homecare, received the Friendly Design Awards 2023 in the “Health Centre for All” category. Mr Watcharaphon Tomornsak, Assistant Minister attached to the Ministry of Public Health, presided over the award presentation at Thailand Friendly Design Expo 2023 on 8 December 2023. The recognition reflected efforts to promote accessible and universal design so that people of all genders, ages, and physical conditions can access and use facilities conveniently, safely, fairly, inclusively, and equally through internationally aligned and people-friendly design policies and concepts.
The seventh Thailand exhibition on accessible design, health innovation, hotels, and tourism for all brought together a wide range of products and services from leading Thai and international companies.
Thailand Friendly Design Expo 2023, also known as “Thailand FD Expo”, was presented as a major international event.
The event brought together organisations from multiple sectors to help advance Thailand towards becoming an international Medical Hub, a MICE for All destination, a Tourism for All destination, and a Friendly Design City for All. “Thailand Friendly Design Expo 2023: Health Innovation, MICE and Tourism for All — the 7th Accessible Design, Health Innovation and Tourism for All Expo” featured businesses, products, innovations, and services related to health, wellness, tourism, hotels, MICE, and friendly design for all.
