Underwater Treadmill: An Exercise Innovation for Older Adults, Coming to KIN in November 2023
For families, one of the greatest joys is seeing the older adults at home remain strong, healthy, and as far away from hospital as possible.
We continue to develop our services without stopping. Water-based exercise supports the exercise needs of older adults, patients with stroke (STROKE), and people with knee osteoarthritis, while offering a high level of safety through modern technology.
This innovative underwater treadmill helps reduce exercise-related risks for older adults by combining hydrotherapy principles with exercise equipment. Water supports body weight and reduces impact on the joints, knees, and hips, allowing users to exercise and engage different muscle groups more effectively. The system can also record exercise results for future health monitoring. Older adults can exercise with greater confidence and improve their health, while family members can feel reassured and happy.
