Physical therapy course · Knee pain
Knee pain does not come from a single cause, so assessment comes first
Knee pain may be caused by knee osteoarthritis, meniscus or ligament injury, inflammation, repetitive use or body weight. Where and when it hurts helps the physical therapist screen for the cause. In many cases, an individually tailored physical therapy program can help reduce pain and improve knee stability. Results vary between individuals.
