The Friendly Design for All Foundation and the Health and Elderly Care Establishments Confederation (HEC)
Organise the “HEC Friendly Design Award 2024” at the “THAILAND FRIENDLY DESIGN EXPO 2024”
The Friendly Design for All Foundation, together with the Health and Elderly Care Establishments Confederation (HEC), organised the HEC Friendly Design Award 2024 to recognise establishments that design and develop spaces accessible and welcoming to everyone, particularly older adults and people with special needs, as part of the THAILAND FRIENDLY DESIGN EXPO 2024 an exhibition presenting technology and innovation in universal design, health, and tourism for all.
The event was scheduled for 12–15 December 2024 at Hall 101, Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bang Na, Bangkok. The event included the announcement of awards for establishments demonstrating a strong commitment to designing and developing spaces that provide comfort and safety for every user.

A rehabilitation and elderly-care facility designed with close attention to comfort and safety.

Both branches were recognised for designs focused on providing accessible, supportive, and welcoming services for older adults and patients.
The event offered an opportunity to exchange knowledge about universal and inclusive design that can effectively accommodate everyone in society, particularly within elderly care and services for people with special needs.
Activities and Award Presentation
In addition to the award announcements, the event showcased innovations intended to improve quality of life and support sustainable elderly care.
Everyone was invited to attend the event, view the competition, learn about design that responds to the needs of all user groups, and congratulate this year’s award recipients.
