Case Review: 65-Year-Old Hemiparesis Patient Mr. Wimon’s Recovery through TMS Therapy and Nerve-Nourishing Vitamin Program

 

      Mr. Wimon, aged 65, experienced a hemorrhagic stroke in April 2019. He remained in the hospital for more than two months and developed unilateral hemiparesis with weakness in his arms and legs. Through his determination and commitment to rehabilitation, he participated in a nerve-support vitamin program and received Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) over a period of three months.

      The rehabilitation program aimed to stimulate the brain’s motor signals and activate the arms and legs affected by impaired nerve function. He can now walk more effectively, with reduced numbness and muscle tightness. Combined with continuous physical therapy, the results have helped him regain greater independence in daily life. He can walk more steadily, his muscles have become stronger, and his speech and swallowing abilities have improved compared with the beginning of rehabilitation.
      The physician subsequently recommended physical therapy twice a week and regular TMS sessions to support continued improvement and help maintain the progress achieved through rehabilitation.
      Throughout the three-month period, the program focused on stimulating the brain’s motor control and activating the arms and legs affected by impaired nerve function. He can now walk more effectively, while numbness and muscle tightness have decreased, together with ongoing physical therapy.

He can walk more effectively, his muscle strength has increased, and his speech and swallowing abilities have improved considerably compared with the beginning of rehabilitation. The physician recommended continuing physical therapy twice a week and receiving regular TMS sessions to support further recovery and help maintain the improvements achieved.
