Real-Life Experiences: Patients Who Underwent TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) Therapy – Episode 1

Ms. Moo Panisara, aged 50
She was generally in moderately good health but had high cholesterol and high blood pressure. On the day of the incident, she was attending a work meeting with friends when she suddenly developed facial drooping, unclear speech, and numbness and weakness in her right arm. Her friends immediately took her to the hospital, where the physician diagnosed an ischemic stroke. She was admitted through the stroke fast-track pathway and was fortunate to receive medical attention in time. She then remained in the hospital for treatment and recovery for almost ten days. During the initial period, she had difficulty remembering things and spoke with hesitation. On the first day after leaving the hospital, she could not walk in a straight line, could not write, and could not remember her mobile phone passcode. Eleven days after the incident, she began treatment with Dr. Poom, which included Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) together with IV drip therapy intended to support brain cells and vascular recovery.
