Interview with Aunt Ja, a Family Member Who Brought Her Relative to Receive Care at KIN

Interviewer: Hello. Today, we have the opportunity to interview a family member of one of our patients, who will be returning home today. May I simply call you Aunt Ja? Let us begin with the first question. How did you learn about KIN?

Aunt Ja: I asked my child to search online. The name KIN immediately caught my attention, and I liked it, so we decided to visit the center. When I arrived, I was impressed by how well organized everything was and how clearly the different areas were arranged. Because I liked the center, I decided to bring my relative here. After the admission, I continued to be impressed by many aspects, including the cleanliness, the well-organized spaces, and the physical therapy department located downstairs.

Interviewer: What were your reasons for choosing KIN?

Aunt Ja: I chose KIN because the patient did not need to travel elsewhere for physical therapy. Everything is available in one place, providing comprehensive care. Upstairs, staff members provide 24-hour care, while downstairs there is a physical therapy department that meets a high standard. Based on what I observed, I believe the center maintains a very good standard, so I decided to choose KIN.

Interviewer: How long has your relative received rehabilitation here?

Aunt Ja: We first came here around September, and my relative has now stayed here for approximately ten months. At first, my relative could not sit independently at all. Through frequent physical therapy sessions, including physical therapists providing care in the room, the condition gradually improved. Now my relative can sit much better, can stand, and has begun to walk. I am very pleased with the progress.

Interviewer: What impressed you most about KIN?

Aunt Ja: I am very impressed with both the nurses and the staff members who care for the patients. They are very kind and never show any reluctance or discomfort when caring for patients. They do everything possible to make patients feel physically comfortable and emotionally at ease. As a family member, I am deeply impressed by their actions. They provide excellent care.

Interviewer: Thank you. If someone you know experiences a similar situation or is caring for a patient affected by stroke, what advice would you give them?

Aunt Ja: I would recommend that they consider coming to KIN. The caregivers are kind, the nurses provide excellent care, and the physical therapy center is especially important for patients affected by stroke. KIN provides comprehensive services, so I believe this is a center they should consider.
