An Interview with P'Wi: A Post-Surgery Rehabilitation Experience at KIN

Interviewer: Today, we have the opportunity to interview one of our patients before she returns home. We will call her Ms. Wi. Let us begin the interview. What was the reason for your stay at KIN?

Ms. Wi: I chose to stay here because I had fallen and fractured my right elbow and the right side of my pelvis. I also have osteoporosis.

Interviewer: You therefore needed a period of rehabilitation. Why did you choose KIN as your rehabilitation center?

Ms. Wi: I received a recommendation that the physical therapists here were highly skilled. My physician also advised me to choose a facility that provided physical therapy.

Interviewer: Your physician recommended that you recover at a center with physical therapists, correct?

Ms. Wi: The physician said I could recover at any suitable facility, but physical therapy needed to be included in the rehabilitation program.

Interviewer: What physical therapy program did you receive during this stay, and how long did you undergo rehabilitation here?

Ms. Wi: I mainly focused on physical therapy and selected a facility that was clean and safe. I stayed here and received physical therapy for approximately three months.

Interviewer: What impressed you about KIN?

Ms. Wi: Overall, the first thing that impressed me was the high quality of the physical therapists. My physician also complimented the results of the therapy. The nursing assistants provided excellent care and were kind and approachable. The nurses were also very good. The Home Program team and the staff who organized supplementary activities were excellent as well.

Interviewer: What advice would you give to people who need postoperative care or are experiencing a similar situation?

Ms. Wi: For anyone looking for a professional facility with highly skilled physical therapists, I would recommend KIN.
